Determination.

One determined to get food actually in his mouth and not in every other nook and cranny...

And the other determined to be all grown up and eat just like Daddy.

Gross...Ewww...Yuck.

I went to Downers Grove to pick up my camera from the repair shop...only to find the plague right outside their storefront. It freaked me out a little, but I snatched up 8 cicadas, put them in a baggy and brought them home to show Matthew. He was NOT impressed...and possibly more scared than I was. Ewww, they still give me the creeps.

Suzie's Senior Pictures...

Just a couple pictures I took of my cousin, Suzie this past weekend.

Could he be...

Any cuter? Seriously, look at this kid. I love him!

Here are a few more pictures from the wedding. If you wanted to view the entire "professional" wedding album online, you can do so at studio3pros.com and search for their last name, Schol.

got to wear his own tuxedo
and looked very handsome.

Mother and son dance...

The wildest guest at the wedding was Matthew.

He did have a wonderful time table dancing...

now where would he get that from????

Ethan - 3 months old

Well, here he is. This kid is a breeze. Easy going, happy and soooo laid back. I swear the only time he really cries is when he's hungry. That's all! He's the best baby we could have asked for and it's been so easy adjusting to two kids. He is sleeping though the night, most nights. He eats great and he's always smiling.

I don't think we could have gotten any luckier.

YUMMMMM

This is what we had for dinner today! What a yummy dinner.
I loved it.
If you are interested in the recipe, you can find it at:

*Mine doesn't look like their picture, but don't judge! :)

Tim & Natalie's Wedding

I think I may have more pictures on the other camera, but this is all I have from their wedding on my camera I had in my purse. What a good looking couple, huh?
The morning after, hanging out at the Pheasant Run's Pool.
Dinner at Salerno's on the Fox. (Notice Ethan's not in any of these? He was sleeping, as usual!)

Memorial Day, Monday. LoLo and Ethan, waiting for some burgers.

Sliver patrol. Bryan had a HUGE sliver in his foot that was quickly removed in sterile conditions, by Dr. Kingston Ward, assisted by Nurse Lorraine! Ewwww.
Sick boy, Matthew after a bath. He had such a horrible cold, double ear ache and a fever of 102.2. To top it all off, a bad bad bad sunburn!
Cute baby, Ethan!
You can see the burn here...Look how pink he was....
HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!

TURTLE SOUP

What fun!

Today our neighbor found a turtle on the way back from work and brought it home to let Matthew see it. She thought it would be a fun thing for Matthew and Bryan to do together. So before we released it into the Fox River, we had to take a few snap shots. Matthew was a bit scared and hesitant to make friends, but we managed to get a few pictures before he got too freaked out!

Hungry? Daddy and Matthew are ready for turtle soup!

Finally, a pose with the turtle.

HOW CUTE IS THAT!!??!!

He was a bit scared of the claws on his feet. He did NOT want to touch it until it's feet were tucked neatly back inside the turtle's shell.

Mother's Day 2007

Happy Mother's Day! Today was just wonderful. Bryan and I worked in the yard all day. We were digging and planting like there was no tomorrow. We were working on the yard for almost 7 and a half hours.
M played outside and looked like he rolled in mud all day. He dug for worms, roly polies, and other "creatures" from the deep...
E slept and ate from the time we started to the time we finished. He was eating 6 oz. every 3 hours. Apparently, he's a growing boy!
After going to dinner with my parents and my brother (along with our crew), I realized that I didn't have any pictures for my first Mother's Day as a mother with 2 children. So, even though M is in his jammies, I got some.

Little E, cute as could be.

As for gifts, well...Bryan and Matthew surprised me with coffee and coffee cake from Starbucks. I also had a lovely card from Matthew, that he signed himself. I love when he writes his own name. It's so darn cute! B picked out a "Family Portrait" Willow Tree picture. It looks like a plaque and it has a mom and dad and two boys. Very cute and it goes with the rest of my collection. My mother inlaw sent my a beautiful keepsake box that says MOTHERHOOD on the top. It's awesome and with the way I save things, I'll for sure get my use out of it!! :) My brother also sent me a huge boquet of flowers. I'm taking some pictures of those tomorrow without a flash and a different lens. At dinner, my dad surprised my mom and I with diamond necklaces. They match, but my necklace is smaller. Dad designed it for us and needless to say, it's gorgeous!! Thanks DAD!!
Thanks to all!

Happy Mother's Day!
