Three and a Half

I took Ethan to the pediatrician for his school physical.
At 3.5 years old, he's 39 lbs, 41 inches tall and in the 85th percentile for obesity.
WHAT?! Seriously?!
Even the pediatrician laughed. We won't be taking that stat too seriously.
He was tested for diabetes, too. Negative. (WHEW!)
He had a 'foo shot.' He was NOT A HAPPY CAMPER.
Did I mention that he missed show and tell at school? He did.
He was so mad at me.
Poor guy!

Don't ya love when you take a picture and you see later that someone has ruined it?! Darn you, Ethan! :)

Ethan's 1st Picture Day

Ethan had his first 'school picture' taken for preschool.
His teachers told me that he was a natural.
Ha.
No surprise there.
LoLo took these and sent them to me while I was at work.
Talk about bringing a smile to my face...

You know when LoLo comes to town...

...because the smell of garlic wafts out my windows and makes the neighbors jealous.

Thanks, Boys!

I wanted to make sure I said a BIG thank you to the important men in my life...all 4 of them! Bryan and the boys gave me red roses when I got home from school and my dad surprised me with a bright bouquet at work! How sweet of my favorite men!!
Thanks guys!
XO

P.S. Did I mention my main squeeze and my inlaws got me this?!
WOOHOO!!

Happy Birthday to ME!

33 years.
Eeks.
I used to think that was old.
It's not.
This year I celebrated with my parents, my grandma, my brother and his family and of course, my three boys. I took some A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E. pictures of the night, but they are gone.
Poof.
These are the only two I have left.
Don't you think it's fitting that the only two pictures I have are of the two people who made this evening possible?!
Thank you to everyone who made me feel so loved on my birthday! XOXOXO
Amy

I MADE IT!

It's my first real DIY project. I've been coveting these all over blog land for some time, but never had the energy to make my own. That was until I found an ugly old brass frame in the basement. Take the frame, some yellow spray paint, chicken wire and fabric scraps and VOILA! :)It almost matches my necklace hanger that I found at Pier 1 last year.
I must say, I'm quite proud of my first DIY and I may try a few more projects now that the weather is cooler...if only my MOTHER WOULD ASSIST ME!! :)
HINT. HINT. HINT.

Ever been in a food coma?

I think this is what it looks like.
After lots of peanuts and a couple slices of pizza...
Ethan was OUT.

Among the Mess...

...were two little rock stars.

I caught them playing in the basement (where they aren't supposed to be) and they even figured out how to plug in an old amp of Bryan's.

They obviously miss playing downstairs.

I should probably get things in order again.
