Well. We tried.

This sums up our trip to see Santa. Can I just mention that we went a few days prior and as we were walking up...Matthew watched as Santa walked away. Done for the night. Poor kid...then he gets to compete against his not-so happy brother. Did I mention Santa wasn't too friendly this year? He wasn't. Not nice. Matthew didn't care. He could have told a stuffed Santa that he wanted a robot and new Eagles jersey and it wouldn't have made a difference. But I had to have the picture with the Santa from the mall. :)

Family UPDATE

OK, it's been a LONG, LONG, LONG time...I know. I'm sorry. We have been terribly busy and there is a never-ending chaos in our everyday lives. No matter what, there is never a dull moment. I have never had to keep an appointment book, but realized at the beginning of this school year I couldn't go without one. I can't do anything without looking at my calendar. It's been an adjustment around here. With everyone scheduling pictures before Christmas and finding time to spend with the boys, it's getting CRAZY. I'm SWAMPED. My sink runneth over with dirty bottles and dishes. My laundry is growing legs and moving slowly from the hamper, down the stairs and into a giant heap in the laundry room. My kids' toys are multiplying. My desk can't be identified, other than it has the enormous pile of paper to go through and the dog is a shabby excuse of a poorly kept Golden Retriever. We are just lucky to have clean towels and underwear each day. :) Somehow I keep managing to stay afloat. I'm treading water and doing well at it!

This is Leighanne (Bryan's sister) and her boyfriend, Steve. They came to visit while my parents are out of town. Steve is staying for the weekend and Leigh is being VERY brave and staying the week to help watch the boys. They got Matthew a Razor scooter for his birthday. He's THRILLED!

7 months old...

I'm so bad. I have tons of pictures to post, but I haven't had the time. So here is a baby fix for anyone needing it. Ethan is 7 months old. He's becoming mobile and pushing around his "walker" toy. He LOVES to eat and hasn't found a thing he doesn't like. Two teeth later and he's still happy and smiling...drooling, but smiling.

Yes, I know he's crying...but I needed a picture of his two little teeth. I got them...and after I took the picture I gave him his pacifier back. No one was harmed in the taking of this picture. :)

Aren't his little teeth cute, though? It was worth the tears. In my opinion.

1st Day of PK4

Matthew had his first day of PK4. It was 3o minutes, just to walk around, get to know the teacher, the classroom and meet new friends. He was much more nervous than I thought he'd be. He doesn't know a single kid in his class, which may be a good thing. :) Here are a couple pictures I took today. It was a bit bright, so he wasn't terribly accommodating. But I'll deal with what I have. Isn't he handsome? And looking more and more grown up everyday...

NEW JERSEY - 2007

We had a great time in New Jersey. We spent 1 week there and even in the cold and rainy weather, we weren't defeated. We had a fun time. Bryan had an even better time, from the cheese steaks, pizza, soft pretzels, Rita's Water Ice, to the Eagle's souvenirs, body surfing, and getting to spend time with his mom and dad, brothers and sisters, and his nephew, Alex. It was wonderful to see everyone!

My favorite vacation memory...Leighanne, losing her mind of the darn seagulls. Literally, LOSING HER MIND. I sit her now, laughing. Thinking about Leighanne, screeching, screaming, throwing shovels and kicking things in their general direction. Ahh, hilarious!
