The 'Good' Camera Pictures...

I promised I would put some 'good' camera pictures on here, too! So...as promised.

The first one, however, is NOT a good camera picture, but a scan. Matthew informed me Saturday morning he wasn't going to be doing the Easter Egg hunt OR the Easter Bunny this year. I have to admit, I was devastated and understanding at the same time. Ethan and I waited in line while Matthew and Bryan window shopped. Just as we were ready to plop Ethan on the bunny's lap, Matthew appeared. Bryan convinced Matthew to let me have one last picture of the boys together. I was so thankful. Looking at this picture, I realize this is my last picture of the two of them together sitting on a bunny or Santa's lap. But, I'm just glad that grass stains and all, my two boys took one for the team and made me happy! :)

The Easter Baskets...the naughty bunny didn't get too naughty this year. I think it knew that the mother of this house was tired of cleaning it all up for months to follow.

Matthew and Ethan looked SO HANDSOME today!! If I do say so myself...

And last but not least, TOGETHER...looking handsome!

Schol Easter Egg Hunt

My parents have always had Easter egg hunts for the grand kids...ever since Matthew was old enough to walk. 5 grand kids later, they are still hosting the egg hunt. Today we had a beautiful day to stay outside and enjoy the *Spectacular Sunday.* My guys were especially excited because they know that Nonny puts $$ in her Easter eggs!! :)

Old Papa and Owen

Matthew was the last one to be 'released' to start hunting for Easter eggs. Being oldest certainly has its disadvantages!!

Action shot...or is he just trying to make up time!?

Ethan wanted $$!!

Awww! A cute one of us!! :)

Nonny and the boys! It was a year for turquoise.

Checking out the eggs...

Look! It is Nancy Reagan and her bodyguard!! :)

Love birds!

Babop and the only granddaughter!

Thanks, Nonny and Babop for all of the goodies!! Your backyard is the perfect place for two little adventure seeking boys!! Thanks for the grass stains, muddy butts, sugar highs, and lots of laughs and fun! XOXOX

Grandma and her great grand boys!

What?! Another family picture?! A good one, too!!

Old Papa, Blue Nanny and the boys

YIPPEE!! Happy Easter!!!

THANKS!!!

Just a couple quick pictures of the boys off of my point and shoot camera! I had to make sure I got a couple pictures in their Easter outfits. While my in laws were in town, my mother in law and I spent literally ALL afternoon looking for some cute clothes. At our last stop, we found these and I must say...I LOVE THEM!! Thanks, Lorraine!! My boys looked VERY handsome!!

Easter Morning...

Apparently my children believe the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus deliver the same amount of goods because Matthew was up at 5:30 chomping at the bit. (Side note: The Easter Bunny DOES NOT bring nearly what Santa does!!) We sent him back to bed three or four times, but I'm certain his inquisitive nature snuck a secret peek at the goodies left by the Easter Bunny. Around 8 AM, Bryan and I let the boys go down the hall to look find their stuff. Our Easter Bunny doesn't hide the baskets, just the eggs. He also doesn't leave things neatly...there is usually quite a mess left around the living room. I love hearing how annoyed they are by the Easter grass which they know they'll have to clean up!! :)

Can you sense a wee bit of excitement over his candy eggs and his Easter eggs??!!

The Easter Bunny even left Star Wars shirts for Florida...(Thanks, LoLo!!)

Videos of Matthew's Game

Enjoy some short videos of Matthew pitching and hitting. He was throwing HARD yesterday, but the videos I have show he's still nervous. Once he settled down, I just enjoyed the pitching and didn't videotape it. More videos will come throughout the season...don't you worry.

More baseball...

Here are some 'game day' pictures of Matthew's first game! Blue Nanny, Old Papa, Nonny and Babop all braved the wind and cold. Thanks guys for coming!! It's always nice to have a cheering section at these things...besides, it gives me some company! (and a few extra babysitters!) :) Dad and Matthew warming up! Thanks again to Matthew's cheering section...

Under God's Sea in 3D

Matthew and Ethan go to the same school my grandma taught at, my father attended, and my brother and I attended. It is such an amazing feeling to see my children creating memories I still hold dear to my heart. Matthew's first operetta was last weekend and I can remember just what a buzz that school has during the preparations. These are BIG deals to the families, teachers and students. Matthew only had a part in the choir, but he was still nervous and anxious to be on stage.

Some of Matthew's biggest fans flew in JUST for his big weekend. 800+ miles couldn't keep them away. Thank you Lorraine and Kingston for being there!! We loved having you and I know Matthew was ECSTATIC you were there to see his big show. We had a fabulous weekend, despite the rain!!

THANK YOU!!

Before the show...

His stage makeup is on...

A rare family picture!

Preschool Treats

Ethan only has 7 other kids in his classroom, which gives me the freedom to be a bit more creative than I can be with Matthew's class of 32 kids. For their Easter party, I signed up for snack and a dessert. I may be partial, but these are the best ones I have seen...EVER.

Carrot cookies, planted in Oreo cookie crumbs

Goldfish crackers in a pastry bag I started these at 10 PM the night before...who needs clean clothes and a clean house?!?

Opening Day - 2011

Being married to an x-ball player, Opening Day comes with a lot of preparation and rituals. The day finally came. My man got to start the game as a pitcher. Can you imagine how proud his Poppa was?! Let's just say his dad may have been more nervous than the child. I had such a proud feeling come over me when I watched them play catch before the game. Life truly has come full circle. Knowing me, you have to believe I would have taken some pictures before the game!! More action pictures to follow...
