Grab a drink and a snack, sit down, kick up your heels, and turn your volume up...this video is long, but it's full of laughs!

After all of the Easter festivities, I thought it would be fitting to tape the boys singing some songs about Jesus. I didn't think it would be as difficult as it proved to be...but I think a certain adult was part of the problem! {BRYAN!!} At the very end of the giggles, you can see how hard they really did try do well.

He is risen. He is risen 'indude.' Alleluia!

Yoga Video

Here's a cute video of the boys doing some yoga after school. They love this stuff and ask for it each day after school!!

Oh, Alice!

Ok, so technically Alice is Matthew's pet. However, Bryan has been blessed with the care of Alice and her home. Late on Saturday night, Bryan took Alice out of her cage to clean it and just the adults got to play with her....and Guinness, too! Guinness loved to push her around the floor in her plastic ball. The drool rolling out of her mouth was INSANE. The real laugh came when I was giving her yogurt drops. They look like chocolate chips and are about the same size, maybe a bit bigger. Alice took 1, stuck it in her cheek. She took another and stuck that in her cheek. Bryan and I were hysterical. She ended up stuffing 6 of them in her cheeks and 2 corn kernels. HOLY COW...this isn't a hamster...she's a pig!!
In this picture, she had only 4 in her cheeks. I wish I could have gotten a good one of how big those cheeks got!

Bubbles...

After the baseball game, we continued the fun with some bubbles. Actually it was so darn windy, we really didn't even have to blow them...the wind made it look like a bubble storm!

The boys decided that Bryan needed some cheer leading. While Bryan worked on the grass, the boys ran in around him in circles, yelling, "Cheerin' on Daddy...Cheerin' on Daddy."

Remember the movie, There's Something About Mary?? Do you remember her hair??
Well, we had our own version of the 'hair-do' with the help of some bubbles!!
There's Something About Ethan!

Play Ball!

Today was Matthew's first game of the 2010 season. He's playing for the Yankees this year and he's really into catching. It's actually the perfect place for him to be during a game. He can't spin in circles. He can't dig holes. He can't watch the people walking by the field. He has to pay attention. It's perfect for him...and he's not half bad.

The 'pre-game' huddle...

Bryan helped Matthew get his catching gear on...

Look at Matthew catch!! :) He was ready for it!!

Even Bryan got to pitch today!! He struck out two of our batters!!

Ethan was watching Matthew 'warm up' before he had to bat.

His first swing he took one off the knuckles and I think he was a bit surprised...and hurt.

Ethan's turn!!
Matthew's fan club...Stacy!
Thanks for coming today, Stacy!!

***BEWARE*** (blood and guts post!)

After Matthew's game, Bryan and I were taking turns playing catch with Matthew. Matthew was using his new catcher's mitt and took a ball right in the mouth. Somehow...and we really don't know how it's possible, but he bit his tonge. He bit his tongue HARD. So hard, the poor kid's tooth almost went through his tongue. He got himself good!! There was LOTS of tears and LOTS AND LOTS of blood.
If you have a sick stomach...please do not look any further!! This post also shows the injury!

Matthew's Scrimmage

Well, it certainly was entertaining. Let's just say we have lots to work on during this baseball season...First order of business??!! DROP THE BAT AFTER YOU HIT THE BALL!! That was a riot! The first game is on Saturday!

Tricked Ya!

Yes. It's the oldest trick in the book. Being the gullible child, Matthew will do anything if you ask him nice enough. After dinner, (hence the messy kitchen) I asked Matthew to help me do the dishes. It turned in to be a bit more crazy than I had anticipated.

YOGA

In an effort to calm the beasts in the house, I turned on some yoga. Surprisingly, they enjoyed it and have actually been requesting to do it daily. I shouldn't be surprised though...it calms the students I work with at school, too. Although, their yoga instructor is much more qualified than I am!! :)

Go fly a kite...

The boys got new kites from Nonny and boy, was her timing perfect. We are so lucky that we have a big backyard to fly kites because they have been flying them everyday since these pictures were taken on April 3rd. I love the look on their face when they can actually get the kite to 'work.' :)

Easter Eggs

Getting ready to dye the eggs. Shirts are off to avoid stains. Paper on the table to prevent spills. Eggs are ready...and Matthew totally took charge of the coloring this year. Ethan...well, let's just say he didn't really care that he didn't get a real chance! :) He attempted about to color 2 eggs...he cracked about 8! It was probably better that Matthew took charge!
He's a White Sox fan (poor kid)...
...and he's a Cubs fan. :)
Did I mention how much I love these little dudes?! Especially when they genuinely love each other...and this night, they really did. ♥

Easter 2010

At our house we don't have a normal Easter Bunny. Our Easter Bunny doesn't wrap up Easter baskets and hide them around the house. Our Easter Bunny is NAUGHTY. As much as the boys say they 'hate' the Easter Bunny...it really is a lot of fun. Our Easter Bunny uses buckets filled with paper (to make the baskets appear more full) instead of the Easter grass. As you can tell from the picture, the Easter Bunny sprinkles the grass all over the baskets, on the floor and around the living room. He hides Easter eggs, leaves one present for them to share and then their buckets. The best part is that the boys have to clean up after him, too! Gotta love it!
...and what Easter isn't complete without Peeps?!

Anvil Club Breakfast

Thanks Mom and Dad for the fabulous breakfast! It was de-lish!
P.S. I love that you always dress alike when we go out. So cute!
Ethan ♥'s his Old Papa!Matthew and the Anvil Club's Easter Bunny...Are you scared?! I am!
All the boys were entertained by technology...Nintendo D.S games and iPhones.
Gotta love technology!
Another smile from "Sissy"...
