Hearts

I just love spring...especially these little beauties.
My mom is really jealous that she left them behind!

Rub.A.Dub.Dub.

My dad was always a budding photographer when we were growing up. He did a lot of artsy stuff and black and white photography. My parents had two pictures of my brother and I in the tub...just our faces, surrounded by bubbles. I always thought they were fun, so I took one of Matthew at about 2 years old and last night Ethan was comfortable enough in the water...so I took one of him, too! I LOVE IT!!

Good Behavior

Blame it on the teacher in me. Call it desperation.
We are officially on a behavior system at Casa Ward.
It must have some affect on the mood here because Matthew informed me today, "Mom...I liked you better before there were tickets in this house." I replied, "Well, if you'd listen and talk kindly then you'd enjoy receiving the tickets...rather than losing them all." Matthew's reply?!
"I still hate them."
YES!! It's working!
(Ethan understands...notice he has more tickets than his older brother??! Let's just say that Matthew is NOT liking that O.N.E. BIT!!)

These signs are posted on the inside of the pantry door for easy reference and we go over them every night at dinner.

Teacher Appreciation

Isn't it cute?!
Unfortunately I can't take the credit for them!
I stole it.
The joys of being obsessed about reading other peoples' blogs.
The depressing part is that my rendition isn't even half as cute as the original.
Check out the original at here.
I stalk her regularly. You should too!

While Matthew plays ball...

Ethan gets to go to the park. I did manage to get him to sit through a bit of the game...with the help of an iPhone, popcorn, lots of gum, and a pretzel with cheese. After he couldn't wait any longer...we walked down to the park and had some good giggles and exerted lots of energy!
It's fun just watching these boys enjoy life...

DAIRY QUEEN LOVE

You know it's that time of the year when Dairy Queen is an assumed treat after most baseball games. I say 'most' just because I have to salvage my waistline. The boys, however, don't need to worry about waistlines...so they still request their favorite dessert every night.

More of Mo...

Just a couple still shots of Mo's first pitching attempt!! :)

Matching Jammies

The boys sure do love when they can match. They like it even more when they are matching while wearing superhero clothes. Thanks Nonny!!

Mo Pitches...

It wasn't pretty. The poor kid was a nervous wreck. He threw a couple strikes, but the kids didn't swing. The other team's coaches were yelling at their batters to NOT swing! UGH! So...they didn't. It's ok though. Mo loved it! That's what matters most, right??
