Springtime at the Zoo

In attempt to do something fun AND free...we trekked down to the city to see the Lincoln Park Zoo. I have never been here before. I'm not sure I'll go back...but we certainly made lots of memories!!

Ethan LOVED reading the map and he actually knew what he was doing!!

After we ate lunch, we made our way to the monkey house. As we stood and watched them, this guy went to the top, did 'business' in his hand and proceeded to eat it! Needless to say, this was one of the boys' favorite parts of their day!!

So, Ethan saw this 'street singer' and was very intrigued by her. He wanted to stare, but he did NOT want her singing or talking to him. He hid behind his map and watched her out of the corner of his eye. It was a riot!!

The car ride got a bit rowdy, as you can tell. It also was the highlight of the boys ride home! I'll let you see if you can figure out why...

Any idea what that might be?? Yep...you guessed it! The boys had their favorite memory in the car...OH MY!! I guess that's what you get when you sit in traffic for 90 minutes!!
