Creatures of the Night

On Friday, we met Bryan's sister, Leighanne and her hubby, Steve, at Brookfield Zoo for Creatures of the Night. If you aren't a member, I would NOT recommend this event...especially for young kids. It wasn't terribly scary, it was just terribly lame. The highlight of my night was watching Matthew during the 'Haunted Trail.'

Yes. He's terrified. No. The Haunted Trail was NOT that scary!

He is very well trained. In the middle of screaming and carrying on, I told him to smile. He did. Once I took the picture, he went back to hiding in the wagon. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. The boys were asleep before we left the parking lot. Maybe that Haunted Trail really did wear them out!! :)
